Having been a PE teacher for many years I made the move to set up the business in 2016, buying and selling for people through our eBay store. Soon we secured a contract with Big Yellow Self Storage Chester & Birmingham, & Rent a Space Shrewsbury, to clear their unpaid debtors units & sell the contents. We then extended the business shortly afterwards to include property clearances, taking on private customer domestic clearances through our website, estate agents and Insurance companies.

This move came as a result of an elderly next door neighbour being overcharged £800 for 3 hours work from a cowboy clearance team, outrageous!!! In short we knew we could do it for far less, saving the customer money. Moreover, we used our skillset of selling, to take the contents of what we removed, selling them through our online stores & auction houses & returning 50% of sales to the client. In some cases they have received more back from the sale of their items than the cost of the clearance itself.

Some of our favourite jobs are those with our private customers, who may have experienced bereavement. We feel that as a group of teachers we can be sympathetic to their needs & help them sensitively through that process of saying goodbye to once treasured possessions.
